Our History
Cashman Photo has been the premiere photography company in Las Vegas for more than half a century.
1957
Morgan & Harris Cashman with Morty Gottlieb in Miami Beach
Cashman Photo began when teenage brothers Morgan and Harris Cashman borrowed Polaroid cameras from their step-father’s shop and started photographing tourists on the sands of Miami Beach. The twins were so successful, within a few years, they had concessions in several iconic resorts including the Fontainebleau, Eden Rock, and the Diplomat to name a few.
1966
Cashman Camera Girls at the Las Vegas Hilton
Morgan and Harris establish Cashman Photo of Nevada in time for the opening of Caesars Palace. Cashman Camera Girls quickly became synonymous with the glitz and glamour of the city and soon could be found at casinos, nightclubs, swimming pools, restaurants, and showrooms throughout Las Vegas.
1971
Cashman Fast Color Photos at Caesars Palace
Always driven by innovation, the Cashman brothers established photo labs in Las Vegas resorts to produce full color 8 x 10 prints in about 20 minutes or about the time between dinner and dessert. The concept of fast print color photo printing was decades ahead of its time.
1977
Cashman Headquarters – Highland Drive Las Vegas
Rooted in their new offices on Highland Drive in Las Vegas, Cashman Photo has expanded globally with operations in Monte Carlo, Honolulu, San Francisco, New York City, and Atlantic City.
1980s
Cashman Photo Magic Retail Store
Cashman Photo continued to grow in Las Vegas and relocated to their new headquarters on Cinder Lane. Morgan married his wife Karen in 1987, and shortly thereafter, she launched Cashman Photo Magic retail stores throughout the city offering film processing, cameras, and photo related products.
1990s

Cashman Photo introduced thrill ride photography to Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Theme Adventures Theme Park, at the top of the new Stratosphere tower, and the Manhattan Express at New York, New York. Cashman also began providing photography and video for resort operated wedding chapels and created a new team specifically for corporate events and conventions.
2000s
Las Vegas Wedding with Showgirl
As Cashman entered the digital photo age, Karen Cashman introduced Cashman Crystal retail locations. Green Screen photo ops were opened at attractions including the Stratosphere Tower, Shark Reef Aquarium, and Siegfried and Roy’s Secret Garden. Cashman webcasting was introduced providing live-streaming video of wedding ceremonies on our own private platform. Las Vegas weddings became more popular than ever before peaking on July 7, 2007 when Cashman Photographers captured 736 weddings in one day.
2010s
Karen and Morgan on Morgan Cashmans Way
Cashman thrill ride photography expanded to include the original zip-line on Fremont Street, the High-Roller observation wheel, and the Adventure Dome at Circus Circus. Cashman Pro Photo Lab was opened to the public to meet the photo printing needs of professional and amateur photographers alike. In 2016, Cinder Lane was renamed Morgan Cashmans Way.
2020s
Cashman Photo Executive Team: March 2023
Though a global pandemic led to a complete shutdown of Las Vegas, Cashman Photo emerged with momentum. Karen Cashman, Owner and CEO, retired in 2021, and Robert Dolan became the new Owner and President. Shortly thereafter, the company moved to our current headquarters on Pioneer Way.
